Welcome to Sunset Cove - A secluded 3 acre luxury lakefront lodge perfect for your group's lakefront getaway away from crowds but with access to all the Smokies have to offer. Enjoy a day on the water, taking in views or heading to the nearby attractions.

Lakehouse Tour:
The main floor features a spacious kitchen and dining space with seating for 12. Make dinner looking over the mountain and lake! A well-equipped kitchen walks out to the top deck with the outdoor 10-seater dining table, BBQ, and cozy seating to relax. It features 3 bedrooms. The first is truly a master suite with a king bed and queen sleeper and en-suite bathroom and gathering space around the fireplace with French doors out to the deck. A second bedroom has a king bed and wakes up with views over the lake with a walk to the deck. The 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. A 2nd spacious bathroom with shower, double vanity and jetted tub completes this floor.

Downstairs you have a large second full kitchen and a HUGE gathering space for the group with a large TV next to the 2nd fireplace. This fully stocked game room has air hockey, arcade games, foosball and board gave, truly something for everyone. With an outdoor shower, hot tub on the deck, 2 day-beds and ping-pong this deck is the ultimate entertaining space. Sit under the string lights and just enjoy the sunset as it sets into the lake. A large king bedroom w/ en-suite bathroom (also accessible from the living room) also reside on this floor.

The loft contains a queen bed, cozy couch and bean-bags with a huge TV just begging for movie night! Walking-out onto the highest deck looking over the lake it’s a great place to sit and have a deep conversation over your favorite beverage and just take it all in.

Outdoor space might be the true star of the show. A fenced front yard with space to play some bags and wrap around deck start of the show. A winding path down to the lake stops begs you to sit by the firepit and take the view in. A bit father you get down to the dock and can sit in the Adirondack chairs and take in the lake or be adventurous and take the kayaks out for a spin. The large dock is perfect for just relaxing or docking your boat for more adventures!

Pet Friendly: We know that your furry friend is a part of the family, which is why our lodge is dog-friendly. You'll find a convenient dog door and access to a fenced-in grass area and dog kennel in the basement. 2 dogs are welcome, more upon request ($75 add / per pet over 2)

Our home is ideally located far enough to be away from the crowds but near 40 and Exit 407-Sevierville, leaving a short drive to all the attractions of the smokies (Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Smokey Mountain National Park and Pigeon Forge). But with all the amenities available, you may not want to leave!

☀Is this property handicap accessible?
➜ This property is not ADA compliant. There are 2 steps required to enter the property. However, there are two bedrooms & a full bathroom located on the main level. Additionally you can drive and park near the lower level which have access without stairs

☀ Do you need to bring your own linens?
➜ No, no and absolutely not! We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things!

☀ What other amenities do you provide?
➜ We provide full bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. We also provide ample trash bags for the kitchen & bathrooms. Additionally, we provide a starter set of the following items that you might want to bring or purchase extra, depending on your length of stay: Toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, & laundry pods.

➜ For coffee lovers: the home has a traditional drip coffee maker with filters in the drawer right below, 2 Keurig’s (one upstairs and one downstairs) and a French press☕️

☀ Where can I rent a boat?
Several locations to rent paddleboards and other various boats and jet skis are nearby. The closest is H2O Water sports, just down the street from home.

☀ Can I dock my boat at the house?
If you would like to bring your own boat, there are several places it can be put in the water within 10 minutes of the home, and can be secured to our dock for the entirety of your stay.

☀ Is there good fishing nearby?
Yes! Douglas lake has almost 600 miles of shoreline and is rated one of the best bass fishing lakes in the Country.

Important Notes:
Dock is a lovely walk down a winding path in the backyard some people choose to rent an Atv/UTV/Golf cart to make it easy to get down to the lake (easily rentable from Good Ole Boys nearby they drop off at the house)

The lake lowers in the Winter months, it varies due to precipitation and according to the TVA controls. Dock is typically floating March - Oct. Water typically begins filling in March in our cove. However this is TVA controlled and we cannot make promises on water levels. Check the TVA site for current and expected conditions by time of year (or reachout we are happy to help!)

Our close cabin is immersed in nature which most love! However, this means there is lots of wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, fox, and more! You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view. We contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given our wooded location, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
